I started my tenure at Channel Bakers as a Senior Reporting Specialist, with the primary responsibility of generating compelling data analyses filled with suggested areas of opportunity and campaign optimizations that could be implemented on Amazon’s advertising platform to boost profitability and visibility for our clients.

In September of 2020, I transitioned to the Brand Insights Specialist role within Channel Bakers where I worked exclusively as an Amazon-centric data consultant for a Fortune 500 software company.

My primary responsibility was to analyze, research, and develop meaningful data insights from the Amazon Ads platform with the goal of achieving or outperforming visibility, profitability, and pacing oriented benchmarks. This delivery of performance insights along with a variety of industry market share research reports also supported company-wide tactical shifts and financial allocations within media strategy.

Brand Insights Specialist (Sep. 2020 - Oct. 2021)

  • Delivered custom weekly reporting and insights on budget optimizations, creative execution, and ad placement recommendations for a Fortune 500 client’s Amazon Ads Search and DSP strategy with goal of improving profitability and growing brand awareness.

  • Led monthly and quarterly business review meetings, walking client through a historic analysis of Amazon Ads account performance while discussing KPI initiatives, competitor analysis, keyword selection, audience targeting, and new platform features.

  • Consistently completed ad hoc client requests centered around potential opportunities related to keyword optimization, creative analysis, industry market share, and customer profiles within a 48 - 72 hour turnaround period.

  • Streamlined reporting on Amazon Ads performance, search term rankings, and product ASIN selection with Excel automation techniques, reducing time spent on recurring deliverables by 40% while eliminating bottlenecks and the potential for human error

  • Analyzed and reported on innovative, advertising optimization solutions that improved return on investment for the paid search and display campaigns of 5 clients utilizing data from Amazon Advertising Sponsored Product, Display, and Brand ads along with DSP-related performance.

  • Developed training documents, standards, and video tutorials on automation with advertising platforms and report structure processes to maximize efficiency.
