The goal of every marketer is to present their product or service in front of the right person at the right place, price, and time.
If we look back at history, Marketing used to be simpler: Word of Mouth, Billboards, TV commercials, Radio, Posters, and Leaflets. These mediums were often the only way a business could communicate with its potential customers. Measuring the effectiveness of these channels was almost nonexistent.
However, over the past 20 years, our world has embraced technological advancements and the capabilities of "online."
Several businesses have formed through innovation, creating digital mediums valuable to our everyday lives. Other companies have found success through effective advertising online, utilizing limited media opportunities to connect and market their offerings. Digital also provides data that supplies companies with all sorts of insights, including the success of marketing channels, target audiences based on demographics and psychographics, consumer perception, and competitors in the market, to name a few.
Marketing has evolved and, as a result, can only function with data paired with creativity and strategy to make bottom-line decisions effectively.
My overarching goal is to show that businesses care about their clients, effectively planning a personal customer journey over a transactional one and utilizing a data storytelling approach that can emotionally resonate with each individual.
By blending strategy, industry knowledge, and complex analytics, I create and support impressive narratives that educate and inspire others to take action on solutions that can benefit their everyday lives.
It sounds cliche, but to sum it up in a statement from the infamous Gary Vaynerchuk:
